Birthmarks
There are several types of birthmarks, including vascular lesion, port-wine stain, hemangioma, and angioma. They are made of up of a network of blood vessels close to the skin surface causing areas of various colorations.
Treatment for birthmarks:
Many types of birthmarks cans be successfully treated with Intense AFT Pulsed Light, MedLite C6 and Yag Laser technologies. The light beams target the pigment of the birthmark, and causes it to disintegrate. Surrounding tissue and normal skin cells are not damaged in the process. Repeated treatments are most often necessary to treat these conditions.
