PhotoFacial with AFT Light
At times so many words are used to describe the same thing in the world of aesthetic medicine, it can be confusing to the consumer! Photorejuvenation simply means using light beams that are carefully calibrated to correct unwanted cosmetic conditions of the skin. We also refer to this technology as Intense AFT Pulsed Light. PhotoFacial is the name of the treatment itself, and of course can be used not only on the face, but also the hands, neck, décolletage and even forearms if necessary. At Rejuvené, we use the top of the line AFTT Pulsed Light which delivers laser like beams into the skin through a computerized device with a hand piece. The light targets pigment and vascular sites, thereby effectively treating a wide range of symptoms simultaneously. Specific settings can be adjusted for each individual in order to safely maximize results. Photorejuvenation or PhotoFacial is a non-surgical, non-invasive treatment with very little discomfort and no down time or disruption of normal activities. Immediately after your treatment, there may be increased redness or pigmentation, which will fade over the course of approximately 48 hours. This technology is considered a huge breakthrough in the arena of skin rejuvenation!

Conditions that are treated with PhotoFacial include:
- rosacea (facial redness)
- facial capillaries
- age spots
- uneven, blotchy skin tone
- rough skin texture
- enlarged pores
- facial lines and wrinkles

PhotoFacial is a remarkable treatment that can dramatically reduce the flushing and redness of Rosacea by 80-90%. It is also the only answer for the elimination of facial capillaries. Fine lines and wrinkles are improved due to the stimulation of collagen at the deeper level of the skin. PhotoFacial may be the treatment of choice for treating pigmentary problems such as age spots, along with producing a reduction in pore size. The benefits of PhotoFacial are consistent, visible improvement in the appearance of the skin that becomes more pronounced with each treatment. As early as the first treatment, you may notice a more even skin tone and a smoother look and feel. Five treatments are recommended for optimal results.
